*Includes all releases that are reportable to the Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHSMA) division of the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT).  Reportable releases are those of the transported commodity (Alaska North Slope crude oil) that fit PHMSA regulatory criteria (49CFR195).  Primary criteria are five gallons or more released to land or containment, any volume released to water, and whether it occurred during a maintenance activity.
