ANCHORAGE, AK – Alyeska Pipeline Service Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Egan as Director of Corporate Communications. Egan will join Alyeska on June 30 and will be responsible for all of the company’s formal internal and external communications, including media relations, community relations, government relations, and stakeholder relations.

Egan was raised in Kodiak and has nearly two decades of professional experience in communications.  Egan spent the past 10 years leading the communications department at the Anchorage School District. As Director of Communications there, Egan managed internal and external communications programs and advised the superintendent and executive staff on communications strategies, media relations, and legislative issues.  Prior to the school district, Egan held communications positions with the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation and Junior Achievement of Alaska. She has a B.A. from Boston College in Psychology and holds the APR (Accredited in Public Relations) certification.
